RIMC expands its real estate portfolio.

The RIMC Hotels & Resorts Group is the new owner of the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cottbus.

The hotel industry's "white label" has operated the Radisson Blu Hotel Cottbus as a tenant for 12 years and has now purchased the hotel property.

Hamburg / Cottbus June 28, 2022 - After two turbulent years for the hotel industry, RIMC Hotels & Resorts Group continues to focus on European hotel properties and still strives for expansion. Now the hotel company has purchased the property on Vetschauer Strasse in Cottbus.

The hotel has already been successfully operated for several years by the RIMC Group as a tenant with the involvement of the Radisson Blu brand under a franchise agreement. "By purchasing the hotel property, we are sending an additional signal for the long-term strategy at the Cottbus location. Cottbus itself and the region as a whole are developing extremely well, both economically and in terms of tourism. The mix makes us very optimistic about the future," says Patrick Gehrmann, Head of Commercial at RIMC Hotels & Resorts Group.

With a central location directly opposite the main railway station, the new DB maintenance facility currently under construction, which will be operational from 2024, and in the midst of the impressive Spreewald region, the hotel with its 236 rooms, seven conference and meeting rooms, pool and wellness area, underground parking, restaurants and large bar will convince the most diverse groups of guests.
