REVERB by Hardrock opening in Hamburg

Hamburg, January 10, 2022 - In September 2021, Hamburg-based RIMC Hotels & Resorts Group won the tender to operate a hotel and food and beverage space in the St. Pauli bunker addition. Now RIMC and Hard Rock® announce the brand of the planned hotel: The hotel on the bunker will be a REVERB by Hard Rock® hotel. The Hamburg REVERB Hotel will be the first of the brand in Europe and its concept fits homogeneously into the neighborhood around the Bunker. The hotel will comprise 134 rooms. The opening is planned for the first half of 2022.

REVERB comes from the English and literally means "reverberation". "Reverberate" and remain in good memory for a long time: this is also what a stay at the new REVERB by Hard Rock® Hamburg in the Bunker St. Pauli should do, according to the hotel operator RIMC: "We are pleased that with REVERB by Hard Rock® we were able to win a hotel brand that fits well into the young, urban environment of the Schanzenviertel," explains Marek N. "The hotel concept, the unique location and the breathtaking view of the Hanseatic city from the public roof garden will make a visit to Bunker St. Pauli a holistic, unforgettable experience - for tourists and Hamburg residents alike."

Hotel facilities, rooms and offers
The Hamburg REVERB by Hard Rock® will feature 134 rooms. Each REVERB hotel features a unique mix of King, Double-Queen and Roadie Bunk rooms, all with stylish and comfortable furnishings, fan-inspired artwork, workspaces and bathrooms with premium toiletries. The Roadie Bunk Room features two queen bunk beds and one queen bed, two private bathrooms, a karaoke machine and oversized smart TVs.

Innovative technology
REVERB hotels are efficient, technologically advanced and provide a personalized and memorable guest experience. Each hotel room is equipped with a smart voice assistant that allows guests to access REVERB City Guides, adjust the lighting mood in the room or control playlists and entertainment programs. Even those who need fresh towels, want to learn more about the hotel or want to know what's currently going on in the city will find what they're looking for with the virtual assistant. For check-in, hotel guests have three options to choose from when they arrive: They can check in via a self-service kiosk, via their own mobile device, or via the REVERB crew at the front desk.

City Guides
To give travelers an authentic sense of the local scene, Hard Rock works with city insiders to create a customized City Guide with tips on where to go to restaurants, bars and local entertainment. Guests can access the City Guide recommendations using the in-room smart voice assistant - including tips from local music stars for local hot spots in their hometown. The City Guides are curated by Hard Rock together with local artists.

Measures for more sustainability
All REVERB locations are doing their part in the fight for a greener planet. It starts with giving guests the option to choose green initiatives for bedding and towels. Rooms will also be equipped with dispensers for high-quality personal care products to eliminate disposable shampoos, conditioners and lotions. Additional sustainability measures will be announced shortly before the hotel's completion.

Opening planned for the first half of 2022
The opening of the REVERB by Hard Rock® Hamburg is planned for the first half of 2022. First bookings will be possible about three months before the opening, the exact date will be announced in time. In addition to the hotel operation, further outlets are planned in the Bunker St. Pauli, which will be accessible to both hotel guests and visitors. More detailed information on the overall concept is expected in the first quarter of 2022.
