Choice Hotels EMEA and RIMC Hotels & Resorts open Quality Hotel Vienna in Austria

The Quality Hotel Vienna has 118 rooms and underpins Choice Hotels EMEA's expansion course in Europe. The property is currently being adapted to the brand's new Quality standards as part of a Property Improvement Plan and opens today, November 21, 2022. PKF hospitality group found the new operators and acted as advisor in the acquisition of the hotel until the franchise agreement was signed.

Amsterdam, November 21, 2022. Choice Hotels EMEA and RIMC Hotels and Resorts Group will open Quality Hotel Wien today, November 21, 2022, on Schönbrunner Schloßstraße, in close proximity to the popular Schönbrunn Palace. The 118-room property is centrally located in Austria's capital and is currently being upgraded to the recently refreshed Quality brand standards of Choice Hotels EMEA.

Choice Hotels EMEA and RIMC Hotels and Resorts Group have already worked together successfully in the past and are now entering into a new 20-year franchise agreement. PKF hospitality group acted as advisor in the search for an operator and found RIMC Hotels and Resorts Group as the new operator for the former Austria Trend Hotel Zoo in Vienna.

The new agreement and the strategic location in Austria underpin the expansion course of Choice Hotels EMEA and hotel operator RIMC. Choice Hotels EMEA is repositioning its Comfort, Clarion, Quality and, in the future, Sleep brands in the European market and is thus well on its way to becoming the leading midscale franchisor in EMEA.
