Olga Kaufmann takes over the position of Head of Hotel Business at RIMC Hotels & Resorts Group

Hamburg, October 2024 – The RIMC Hotels & Resorts Group is pleased to announce Olga Kaufmann as the new Head of Hotel Business. Kaufmann, who has been successfully serving RIMC for many years, most recently as Cluster General Manager of the Radisson Blu Hotels in Poznań and Cottbus, will assume her newly created position at the headquarters of the operating company in November. This change is part of a comprehensive restructuring aimed at improving the efficiency of operational processes.

Olga Kaufmann brings a diverse and successful career in hospitality. After completing her degree in Tourism and Event Management and earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Administration from the University of Sunderland (UK), she gained extensive experience in various leadership roles. Among her prior positions, she served as General Manager at the Steigenberger Hotel Stadt Lörrach and the Hotel the YARD in Berlin. Since February 2022, she has held positions as General Manager and Cluster General Manager for the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cottbus, the ANDERSIA HOTEL & SPA POZNAN, a member of Radisson Individuals, as well as continued her role at the Hotel the YARD in Berlin. Most recently, she took on the interim role of General Manager at the Hamburg BUNKER. "The hospitality industry is my passion. This new position offers me an exciting opportunity to leverage my experiences from the past years in further developing RIMC Hotels and optimizing operational processes alongside the on-site teams," said Olga Kaufmann.

New Organizational Structure of the RIMC Group:
In response to ongoing growth and international expansion, the RIMC Hotels & Resorts Group has fundamentally restructured its corporate organization. Led by CEO Marek N. Riegger, a new Director level has been introduced to streamline the management of key areas and expedite decision-making processes. Additionally, the structure has been expanded to include a new management level: each department will have a dedicated “Head of” position responsible for targeted oversight of operational workflows. Some of these key roles, including Olga Kaufmann as Head of Hotel Business, have already been filled internally. Other “Head-Of” roles have also been filled both internally and with new team members. This restructuring is designed to enable a more flexible response to market changes and better leverage synergies within the group.

"Olga Kaufmann has been a valuable team member for many years and has consistently proven herself in various leadership roles. Her appointment as Head of Hotel Business is an important step for us, and I am delighted to fill this responsible position with such an experienced and respected colleague," says Marek N. Riegger, CEO of the RIMC Hotels & Resorts Group.

Headquartered in Hamburg, the RIMC Hotels & Resorts Group is one of the leading international hotel companies. Under the leadership of CEO Marek N. Riegger, the company has successfully completed over 200 hotel projects domestically and internationally over the past 30 years. Through tailored management solutions and successful revitalization projects, RIMC relies on innovative concepts to operate hotels sustainably and profitably. The portfolio includes business, city, and resort hotels across various categories, offering a balanced mix of attractive hotel products. Further projects in the German and international markets are planned for 2025 and the following years.
