Modern Times Hotel in Vevey (CH) becomes a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Hotel!

St.-Légier, August 2024 - The Modern Times Hotel in Blonay - St. Légier, above Vevey, becomes a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott International, making it the first Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Switzerland. The rebranding of the exceptional 136-room hotel on Lake Geneva took place on August 13, 2024. Operated by the RIMC International Hotels & Resorts Group, an international hotel company headquartered in Hamburg, this boutique hotel, which opened in 2016, retains its name "Modern Times Hotel" but will be marketed as "Modern Times Hotel, Vevey, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel" in the future.

The new Tribute Portfolio Hotel promises a stay with character. The unique hotel is not only modern but also features a distinctive design concept. Sustainability is key, as the hotel is dedicated both to the actor and artist Charlie Chaplin and to the history of the entire region. The historic area offers guests year-round activities, attractions, and a wealth of culture.
